Yesterday the girls and I headed to the movie theather to pay $1 each and watch Ramona Quimby. They were very excited! When we got there we quickly found out that a lot of people had our same idea. There were kids everywhere. We got our snack packs and headed into the crowded theater. We found some good seats though and settled in. I really didn't think Lily would last very long. Ramona isn't a cartoon which is her favorite. I checked my watch perodically thinking that any minute now Lily would want to go. But to my surprise, she lasted the entire 2 hours. London of course was just fine. The movie was okay. Some parts were funny and cute but I had a few problems. It's rated G but I didn't think it should be rated that. There were two kissing scenes. Ramona's aunt and her fiance had a big one and then Ramona's highschool sister, Beezus, and her highschool boyfriend kissed too. I know I sound a little prude, but come on!?! London covered her eyes and acted embarrassed. All the kids in the theater groaned and giggled. It was just weird and uncalled for. (Funny how you view movies with two little kiddos in tow.) Beezus was also a little mean to Ramona too. They said "shut up" and "stupid" a lot which are words you better not utter around me but besides all that, I guess it was just---okay.

Oh, more thing that was bad about the movie...I keep hearing London call Lily "a little pest"--thank you Ramona Quimby.

Ha ha..too cute. I love Lily's face in this picture. It's funny how much more prudish we are when the little ones are around. :-)
I loved the Ramona books when I was little why in the world would parents call their kid beezus?
