Easter is one of my most favorite holidays to celebrate! I was looking forward to celebrating it and it felt like it would never come! We packed up and headed to my Grandma's house to hide all the eggs! The pictures I took pretty much sum up our great time together!
They can hardly wait to run out the door and find them! We hid 85 eggs this year!
The weather was perfect!
This girl does not mess around. She is all business.
This girl is all fun and games!
My sister was the videographer, Pa was keeping his eye on the prized golden egg, GG was walking around and helping the kids, J was secretly finding some in the golf cart, Uncle Chris was flying a kite, and Grandma was making sure everyone had the same amount!
Counting all the eggs! There are still about 2 more left out there somewhere...
Pretty girl!
These pictures mean more than ever to me now....
Happy Happy Easter!
London stole my camera while we were there and she took off taking pictures all around my Grandma's house. She took about 50 pictures and this old stump was the last one she took. For some reason, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. This was the first holiday without my Grandpa and it did feel weird. It felt quieter. It felt different. It's how I felt when I saw this picture. I can't explain it but seeing this picture made me think of my Grandpa and I have no doubt that he is in heaven with our Lord. Easter means so much to me. It's celebrating with eggs and candy and fun but it's celebrating our risen Savior. I miss my Grandpa dearly but know I will see him again.
Love you Grandpa and Happy Easter!
