Texas Kindergarten Graduation

Lily graduated from the Kindergarten, and even though I tried to make this as low-key as possible...it all failed. The private school Lily went to made it a HUGE deal. So, I'm trying once again to explain as best I can that since we are moving we will do Oklahoma Kindergarten at her brand new school. "Oklahoma wants to see how much you have learned," I tell her! It's slowly sinking in and as soon as I think she gets it, some stranger will ask her if school is over and what grade did she just finish and then they'll say, "WOW! You are a first grader now!" Lily then looks at me blankly, and I just smile and move far far far away from this stranger.
With all that being said, graduation was very emotional for me! This school as been a blessing to us and we walk away from it filled with wonderful, sweet memories.
Getting ready
Waiting...
She was chosen to carry the Texas flag! How ironic...and as you can see, she looked thrilled.
Can barely see her but we see that flag!
They asked the parents to send in 5 pictures of our kiddo. Seeing her on the big screen sent me over the edge.

Couldn't be more proud of how far she's come!
Mrs. West--don't even know where to begin. All I can say is Thank You Lord for this amazing woman!
Proud of you Lily! Way to go! What a great year!
