First Day of School in Mustang

I still can't believe we have moved back to OK. It doesn't feel like home but Texas doesn't really like home either. It's this weird feeling that I have, and I guess it will just take some time to adjust. The girls are adjusting just fine though--which is really what matters. They were looking forward to starting school and meeting some new friends.
The night before we picked out their clothes, made their lunches, and said our prayers. They both went to bed early and got a good night's rest. They woke up at 6:30am and were ready to go! They got ready in record time, ate their waffles, and headed outside for their 1st day of school pics.

We were nervous that their new school wouldn't be ready. I have no idea how they got it all done but it was ready for the first day!

I still can't believe my baby is in 3rd grade. It's just so weird since it's the grade I taught and I feel like it's impossible for her to be that old!

My Lily pie is so happy to be in a big school with all the big kids!

She walked right in, sat down, and got to work.

I thought about my girls all day and was ready to see their sweet faces! I also get to bring Scarlett home after school this year until her momma gets off work! When I picked them up they were nonstop talking and telling me all about their day.

It was a success and they are ready for tomorrow...or maybe it's just me that's ready....
