The lake

Some of our close friends down the street recently bought a boat, and they invited us to the lake with them the other day. It rained on the way down there, but thankfully it cleared up once we got on the boat. We had a great time! At first, I was little nervous about London. J and I bought her a life jacket and decided to put it on her before we left. We wanted her to get used to it and, oh boy! She HATED it! She screamed and screamed! She tried desperately to pull it off. Jeff and I thought we were going to have to cancel our lake plans, but we braved it out anyway. Once she saw Brynn and Tyler (our friend's kiddos) with their life jackets on...well, she was okay. We rode around, went tubing, and just enjoyed being on the water. We stayed on the water for awhile, and London did fine...especially since I packed a ton of snacks for her. As long as there is food, she is fine. Hey, that kind of sounds like her mom!!!
