My little fish

I swear London is a fish! She absolutely loves water and it doesn't matter if it's warm, cool, or even cold! After spending a lot of time with my parents, while J and I were in Florida, she found a new little toy she loves. It's a splash pad. It shoots up water, has a mirror, and is something she can sit in or walk around on. It's pretty neat. My parents told me how much she liked it so they let us take it home. I fired up the hose, put her bathing suit on and let her have at it. The water was freezing...it just comes straight from the hose and I didn't think she would like it. (I loathe cold water. To take a bath, I like it very hot and to swim it has to be very warm). Well, she doesn't take after me at all with water. She loved it! She played around, tried to grab the water, and walked all over the pad. Then she just wanted the hose. I kept thinking, she is not my daughter. Plus, who just wants the hose? I actually think she had more fun with that than the splash pad! She tried to drink from it, poor it over her head, water the flowers, and run it over her bulging belly! I just shook my head and watched in wonder at how she could run that hose all over herself. Like I said--she's my little fish!

Why is it bulging bellies are so cute on little ones, but so NOT cute on us?!?! And dimpled legs? You never hear us say, "Oh look at those thighs all dimpled! How cute!" to a girl friend (Thank God!), but they really are precious on a baby.

Mandy, she is positively adorable in those pictures! I love the one where her arms are shaking so they're blurry in the shot. You can literally feel the excitement. Haha!
