Where's God?

About 3 months ago, Jeff taught London to point up in the sky whenever we ask her, "where's God?" It is absolutely adorable. Sometimes she just looks up, and the best times are when she looks up and points! We are beginning at a young age to teach her about God, and His love for her. I can't wait when I can take her to church, and she can learn more there, too. Right now, she just screams as we hand her over every week. But one of these days, she will like to go and hopefully love to learn about God. Last Sunday, I was walking by the "big kid hallway" and I saw pictures that the kids had painted. It really touched me. Seeing these innocent kids learning about Him and all those wonderful stories in the Bible, really spoke to my heart. Parents, grandparents, guardians, family, friends...whoever brings these kids to church are doing an amazing thing. They are setting an example and helping these kids become what God wants them to be. My parents always took us to church. There were some Sunday's where I didn't want to go at all and dreaded getting up early, but I am thankful they never gave up and made me go. I appreciate that now and see the positive benefits of that in my life. So, we are doing the same thing with London. Having her involved in church will one day strengthen her relationship with the Lord and hopefully lead her in the right direction with whatever life throws her way.

OK..those pictures makes my heart ache for a hug and kisses. It's only been a little over a week and it seems like months. I can't wait until she puts her little hands together to pray when you do. It was so sweet when you and Michelle would do that!

I love that. After you showed me that London could do it I taught the kids....now all I have to do is ask "where's God?" and they both point up and say "ga". Totally cool....and that's a good idea. I can't wait to teach her to put her hands together when I pray. London is so cute when she does that. And actually Reagan waves bye bye the same way London does now...

Mandy, this is one of the things that I can't wait to teach our child. That mom and daddy love him more than anyone on earth. But God loves him more than both of us combined. I have no doubt that it will be hard sometimes, but I also know that this child wouldn't have been given to us if He wasn't going to give us the tools to complete the task. It's scary, but I'm looking forward to it!
