But this Christmas is going to be so much fun because now London understands a lot more and is interested in everything. I put some ornaments down for her on the lowest branches of the tree. I put ones there that I don't really care about, and everyone morning when she wakes up she goes straight to that tree and grabs a little bell that she loves. It's so fun to see her react with excitement this year! I was a little saddened when I tried to put my beautiful glass Santa on the end table, only to see her make a mad dash for it. So, my glass Santa has a new place this year--up high on the mantle!
I will be interested to see her sit on Santa's lap this year. She didn't really know what was going on last year, and we could distract her easily. This year maybe a different story...
Santa's helper!
London has been changing so much week to week. She is talking so much now. My favorite things she says are:
"Sit down!" She wants everyone to sit down by her and do whatever she is doing.
"Big bite!" She was eating mac-n-cheese and green beans last night. I put a lot on her fork and right before she took a bite she said this--I cracked up laughing!
"Ballet!" She got this from Sesame Street. She twirls around with her hands above her head just like a ballerina. It is so adorable!
Everyday she just grows and grows. I can't believe she'll be 2 in January. My little baby is turning into a little girl! Now, that is tough to swallow!!
