We decided to take our house off the market at the end of September. We were just going to try again in the spring. We prayed about this and felt it just wasn't the right time. Well, about 3 weeks after we took it off, a couple from California called and asked if we had sold our house. They were still interested! So, to make a long story short, we signed a contract and now we are looking for a new house! We are feeling very overwhelmed! It is pretty stressful sitting here looking at all these boxes and packing supplies (thanks Widmer's!) and knowing I should be packing right now instead of blogging!
After searching all weekend, we finally found the perfect house. We are 7 miles away from my sister and so much closer to the church. It's a spec home, and it's almost finished. We met with the builder on Saturday, and he is going to put all his workers on it so it will be done for us. As for now, we are closing in two weeks--right before Thanksgiving! WOW! It is going to be very busy around here, but we are excited and ready to move!
It's funny how our timing can be the total opposite of God's timing. His timing is perfect. This is all very unexpected, but I am thankful. We prayed about all this from the very beginning, and He is definitely in charge here. When it's in His hands, things just seem to fall into place. It is good to know that the Lord is taking care of us!
At least the boxes are getting some kind of use!
She finds them very entertaining.
London is telling me to be quiet because she is going to sleep!
