Well, things are finally calming down around here. I knew that by taking away the paci, it was going to be hard and it was! The first day, nap time went okay. She cried for about 20 minutes, then she fell asleep. That first night, she cried for about 10 minutes, then went to sleep. I didn't have to wake up at all during the night. I thought to myself, this is SO EASY! I should have done this a long time ago! But Friday and Saturday were different stories. She had a very hard time going to sleep for nap time and bed time. She cried and cried! Every time I would go in there to calm her down, it seemed like I made it worse! She would say, "Please, paci!" It was so terrible! But I kept reminding her that paci went bye bye, and she's a big girl now! Sunday was an off day because she was at Nana's, but Nana said she did really good sleeping over there. So, we are moving onto a new week, and so far she is doing much better. She still asks for it sometimes, but at least, she is falling asleep quickly. It took her about 3 full days to really get over it, and we are still working on it, but I am proud of her! She's my big girl!

I was wondering how it would go! I read your first story and I'm glad you posted an update. I was a thumb sucker, so it wasn't as easy for me... the thumb was always there.
Good job, though!
YAY London! We are so proud of you!
Congrats!! It certainly won't be the hardest thing you have to do, but its a major one. We're SO proud of you, London!!
Yay London! What a big girl you are!
I was wondering how this was going to go. Doesn't it just break your hear to hear her cry for it? Like she's lost a friend? Maybe I AM glad Jon won't take his paci. I don't know if I'd be able to hack it. :-(
I'm glad to hear it was only 3 days even though I'm sure it seemed like an eternity. I'm putting it off for a little while longer.
