I knew it wouldn't take long before my second child would begin to stress us out. I was hoping to be able to go home today, even though my doctor wanted me to stay an extra day (I just want to go home to my own bed!!). But this morning, Lily had other plans. She has jaundice now. I could tell that she was yellowing some yesterday and throughout the night, it has gotten worse. They want her to stay today and be put under the light. There is no way you could pull me away from her, so I am definitely staying too. She can stay in my room under the light. I wish I could hold her so bad, but at least she is right here by me instead of the nursery. The goal today is for her to eat, eat, eat! I pray that the light and the food will heal her of this jaundice and that we'll be able to go home tomorrow--both of us! I'll keep everyone informed...

Hey sweetheart...I know you will be checking the blog tonight...I want you to know that I am so proud of you. I think you are such a strong mother and wife and the glue in our little family. I'm going to miss you tonight, but London and I will say a prayer for you and Lily when we go to bed. We both Love you so much, and we will be there first thing in the morning to come and you get the rest of our family.

My poor Lily! I'm SO glad she's all better. She's a little trooper!
Lily is SUCH a pretty baby! Can't wait to see her up at church! And I'm so glad she's better! That last pic under the lights looks so sad.
Just had to mention that we DO have the exact same bedding set for our new little girls! Mine won't come in for another 2-4 weeks, but I love how it looks in your nursery! Congratulations on everything!
