I also never know what I am going to find when I walk in a room where she has been for awhile. I used to be able to trust her, but now she has become very mischievous. Here are just a few examples of what has been happening around the Mills household:
**It all started when I was in the hospital. She used to never get out of bed. Well, not anymore. She gets out all the time. She tries to be sneaky, but I can hear her little footsteps running down the hall when I'm downstairs. So, we invested in one of those clocks that turn certain colors to let her know when she can get out. That seems to work, but I also had to put up a gate in her room by her door. That was the best idea yet!! Now getting out of bed just isn't as fun! (THANK GOODNESS!)
**The other day I was in the laundry room, London was in the living room coloring, and Lily was in her swing. All of a sudden, London runs in the laundry room and tells me that Lily has fallen out of her swing. I about had a heart attack right there! I dash into the living room to find Lily dangling from her swing. All but her head was out of that swing. I still don't know how she didn't fall out!! I asked London what happened and she proudly told me, "I was holding Lily!!" We had to have a little lesson right there about NEVER picking up Lily because only Mommy and Daddy do that. Little stinker!
**I had to take a quick shower the other day. I had Lily in her bouncer chair in the bathroom with me. I left London in the living room to watch Clifford and play. (I normally have London in the bathroom with me, but I was running late that day.) I took about a 5 minute shower and came out to check on London. I couldn't find her. I kept yelling her name, but I couldn't hear where she was at. I looked everywhere for her. Finally, I could tell she was somewhere in the kitchen. I opened up the closed pantry door to find her sitting in the dark with a box of Oreo cookies. She had devoured about 4 of them. I asked her what in the world she was doing and she happily tells me, "I'm eating cookies Mommy!" Chocolate was everywhere. That was fun day!
**London has gotten into this terrible habit of calling her father Jeff. I correct her all the time and try not to make it a big deal, but she now calls him by his name. It drives us crazy! (It does kind of sound funny though when she says, "Where did Jeff go?" But I cover up my smile and tell her, "No, you mean, where did DADDY go?")
**I was feeding Lily yesterday and when I'm doing that I can't really do anything else. So, London decides to go in my bedroom. I kept asking her what she was doing and she wouldn't respond. That is when I know she is into something. I go in after her a few minutes later, and I can't find her. I look in the bathroom. I look in the closet. No London. I finally look over and see her in Lily's bassinet! She was actually in it! She looked like a giant in that thing! Plus, I can't believe it held her! Here are a few pics of our little "angel."

What am I going to do with her?

Ok, so you certainly have your hands full, but I have to say, thanks for the laughs!! I'm sure it's not so fun in them moment, but hopefully one day you'll tell London (or she'll read your blog) and you guys will have a great laugh together too at all her 2-year-old antics!
oh my goodness you poor thing! Poor Jeff, I bet he hates being called Jeff when Daddy sounds so cute!!! I'm officially worried...this times two???!!!!
I won't name any names, but I do remember a certain someone who, about 27 years ago, was fully potty trained but peed all over the living room floor when her sweet and precious baby sister was brought home from the hospital. ANd this same little girl was such a handful her mother had to buy a book called "The Strong Willed Child" because she was at her wits end. Hmmmmm I wonder where London gets her DRAMA from!!!!! Can you say, like mother like daughter????
What a great post, I'm sorry for the drama but what cute stories to share when she starts dating. Calling him Jeff is so funny, I'm sure it's hard not to laugh. Hang in there!
LOL! There is a reason that God made her a beautiful and sweet little girl. How can you not forgive that little pixie face staring out of the bassinet!
I hear you on the drama. Yes, I most certainly hear you.
