All by herself

I broke down about three weeks ago and put Lily in her own crib in her bedroom. I was really sad about this. I loved having her sleeping right by me in her bassinet. I loved looking over at her and seeing her sleep. I loved hearing her little sounds at night. I loved the fact that I could just stretch out my arm and touch her to make sure she was alright. But the time came where she needed to be in her own bed. I wasn't looking forward to this. Plus, her room is SO FAR away. I figured I would have to get up and climb those stairs about 20 times or I was going to have to make the guest bedroom my new permanent room. But she is a little trooper! When we put her down, she pretty much goes right to sleep. She is sleeping to about 4am every night. I feed her, then put her back down. She sleeps until 7:30am, then we are up to start our morning. I am not really surprised by all this, because Lily is just an easy baby. I am one lucky mom!
