Halloween was pretty fun at our house this year. London was very excited to put on her pirate girl costume and hit the streets for lots of candy. She loves pirates. She likes to watch anything about pirates, she wants to read about pirates, she likes that pirates ride in a ship, and she likes to say, "Rrrrr! Matey!" So, I thought it would be perfect for her to be a pirate this year. I found this adorable pirate costume, complete with the pirate hat! We were ready!
I got her all dressed up and we ventured out. She was shy at first. When we rang the first doorbell, she got nervous. When the man answered the door, I asked her, "London, what do you say?" She said, "Give me some candy!" I was very embarrassed. I corrected her and we moved on. As the night rolled on, she got better and braver. We went about 4 blocks. Pretty impressive for a 2 1/2 year old! She got lots of candy and lots of sweet comments about how adorable she looked! :)We made it home in time for a couple of pieces of candy. J and I put the girls to bed, then I got to raid her trick-or-treat bag! Yummy!! (She didn't even know any was missing the next day!!)
