One year

Today was officially Lily's birthday. My little Lily is now 1! I kept thinking about what I was doing this time last year. I just kept thinking about my sweet little baby coming into this world and changing our family. Amazing how much happens in a year!

Here is a little schedule of what happened today.

After her toe was pricked...a snack heals all wounds!




Lots of tears after 2 shots...poor baby!
Weight: 19lbs 90z (I still can't believe this! She eats so much!)
Height: 28 1/2 inches (Little shorty--where in the world does she get that from!!??)
Everything else looked great!

After the doctor, we went to my sister's house to play with Scarlett and we had some lunch. Then we headed home and took some nice long naps. After nap time, we had some laundry to tackle!



Then off to play!

We had Lily's favorite for dinner--spaghetti, green beans, yogurt, and apples.

Ice cream and cake for dessert!

Then everyone's favorite--bubble bath!

We had a wonderful day! It was a little hard for London to understand that this was actually Lily's birthday. She kept saying, "Didn't we already have a party?" and my favorite "Is Lily 2 now?" But now everyone is asleep and the house is quiet...love it! :)

Dear Lily, Thank you for coming into our lives a year ago today. You are a precious baby and we are so thankful for you. You are our perfect gift from the Lord. Your smile can light up a room and your laughs are contagious. You are our sweet heart and I love you more and more with each new day. (now quit growing so fast!! slow down!!)
