My favorite things

I'm no Oprah. I'm a 30-something stay-at-home mom who has a few things that I cannot live without! Christmas is right around the corner and instead of thinking about the 1 million things I need to do, I've taken some time out to list a few of my must-haves.

1. I love my L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara. It truly makes my lashes longer. The two coats you put on leave your lashes thicker and prettier! I promise!

2. I discovered this perfume the other day. It's called Givenchy Very Irresistible. I don't like floral perfumes and was reluctant to even try it, but once that little sales lady gave me a sample--I was addicted. J better not forget this on my list!!

3. I'm not sure what the Magic Eraser can't do. That little eraser can handle just about anything. I love to use it on my shower door, counter tops, faucets, and it even gets out the little scuff marks on my car when I accidentally come to close and scrape the garage door. This little thing is a life saver!

4. I have always had a very difficult time finding the perfect bra. It's a battle I have fought since I was 16. I usually just buy a boring white bra from wherever I can and call it a day. But the other day, I ventured into Victoria's Secret and was overwhelmed with all the great bras for women now days! I am in love with their Biofit collection. Those bras fit perfectly. I finally bought a pretty bra. No more boring white grandma bras for me!! I especially like the Biofit 7-way bra. Genius.

5. Cannot live without my Photoshop. I bought Photoshop Elements 7 about 6 months ago, and I am amazed at all that program can do. There are endless possibilities. I will never even learn all that it does in my life time. Photoshop has made my photos come alive and helped me to create so many things I never knew were possible!

6. My hair dresser told me about Garnier Brilliant Shine Glistening Drops, so of course I had to go out and buy it. I tried it and after a few times I started to notice a shine to my hair. It smells good, too. What more could a girl ask for?

7. I don't go anywhere without my Pandora bracelet. I got mine a couple of years ago, and I add charms to it whenever something big happens in my life. I have London's and Lily's birthstones, a cross, a heart for my hubby, and I'm in need of a few more. I want a doggie charm for my Bailey, and I found a beautiful tulip charm that I want now---J are you listening??

8. Chesters Cheese Puffcorn chips are evil. You cannot eat just one. They are yummy and good for the soul.

9. Everyone needs a good food chopper in the kitchen and my Hamiliton Beach chopper gets the job done. It's small, easy to use, and inexpensive. Love my little chopper!

10. Cascade Complete Action Pacs are wonderful. Just one little pack cleans a load of dishes leaving them clean and shiny--making my life so much easier.

11. Spanx! You no longer have to work out for hours at the gym. You no longer have to starve yourself for days to fit into that little black dress. You no longer have to save up an abundance of money to get that tummy tuck. You just have to get a pair of Spanx! Brilliant.

12. I am not a coffee or tea drinker. I love the smell of coffee but cannot stand the way it tastes no matter how much sugar I put in it. I don't like tea either and being from the south that is just unheard of. But Starbucks has a Black Tea that is delicious. I get it sweetened and it's just a little taste of heaven. You have to try it the next time you need a little "pick me up!"

Well, that's all! Just a few of my favorite things. Hope you enjoyed it!
What are a few of YOUR favorite things??

Oh my, I just thought of one more! Over the Christmas holiday's if you have time you need to read the book The Shack by William P. Young. It's a great read and has really made me see God in a brand new light. You won't be disappointed.

Okay, I promise--that's it!
