I can't believe this is the last year my baby will be in preschool. I'm trying not to think about that right now and instead enjoy this year!
London was ready to go back to school. She loves school! During Meet the Teacher, we met her teacher, Mrs. Parker, and all the kiddos. Some we know from last year and some are new. She is in the 4 year old hallway now and that is a big deal--so I'm told.
We woke up early on her first day. I got her all dolled up and spent precious time curling her hair. We had a big breakfast, took some pictures, then headed out...in the rain. Of course it was pouring.
Her big day!
Probably thinking how much she was going to miss her Toy Story friends.
"Come on sissy! Let's get you to school!"
We are here!
Walking to her new room!
Finding her cubby and putting her back pack away.
Off to meet new friends!
I am so proud of her!
"Finally! Mom all to myself!"
When we picked her up, she was full of information about her day. They went to music, played in the gym, painted, created a little book about a mouse coming to their classroom, they had learning centers, lunch, they read books, and overall it seemed like she had a great first day. What more could I ask for?
We had a special after school treat in celebrating her first day of her last preschool year!
Don't worry, little Lily, your year is next!

Oh, I'm kinda sad myself! She looks like such a big girl, putting her backpack away!
Love the first day dress!
Adorable! We had Mrs. Parker last year and Dana absolutely adored her. She's so calm and easy going .... something Dana needed that year!
Oh, I love this post! I can't believe our kids are growing up so fast. *sniff*
That shot of Lily in the carseat is my favorite. I see that look on EK's face all the time when he's solo. LOL!
