Easter in good ol' Ok

We woke up early on Saturday morning and headed out to my aunt and uncle's farm. The girls were so excited!
When we left big D, it was 79 degrees. When we got out of the car in OK, it was 60. Thank goodness I was prepared with some warm clothes. We all got to the farm about the same time. My whole family was there and we were ready to celebrate Easter! London brought her silly string and this was how she greeted my sister. Love it!
The kiddos couldn't stand it so we had the egg hunt first thing. My aunt and uncle live on some beautiful land. There were endless possibilities to hide the eggs...
Jaxon is getting to be such a big boy!
We had a yummy BBQ lunch and after that we headed outside to play. There were many, many, many things to do!
This teeter-totter was by far my favorite.
J was like a kid in a candy store on that thing.
My grandma and sweet Emma.
London couldn't wait to ride the donkey. She got on that thing and rode it like she had been raised on a farm.
So many animals on a farm!
I think J was having more fun on the go-cart than Lily...
She is ready to pop! Any day now they'll have a baby!
My uncle got out this two-person bicycle. It's really neat and was a lot of fun----until I turned the wheel too sharply and fell off. It was terrible and I thought I broke my foot. Thank goodness I didn't but I stayed far away from it after that and just took pics of the brave souls who decided to ride it.
I love how Lily and my mom are pushing my grandparents.
We ended our fun Saturday with a treasure hunt. My aunt gave London a map, a shovel, and a metal detector. I really think she thought she was Dora. My aunt made up some story about an old man who buried his money a long time ago from his wife. I didn't get to hear the whole thing but London listened so intently and was on a mission to find that treasure.
When she found the buried treasure, she was surprised and shocked. Now she keeps asking me for a metal detector. It was her favorite thing she did the whole day.
We had such a wonderful time with my family. The day was packed with tons of fun, laughter, food, and good times. The fact that it was Easter was just the icing on the cake!
Happy Easter! He is risen!
and now I want some land of my own....J--are you reading this????
