About a month ago, we finally bit the bullet and bought Lily a big girl bed. She never tried to crawl out of her crib (well, she did only once and I think I scared her so bad she never tried again) and I always liked putting her in it, so I could have some peace and quiet. She has always been a great little sleeper so why mess up a good thing? But she is getting big, and I was afraid I would be the only parent that still puts her 3 year old in a crib so we bought a bed. Once we bought the bed, we did a little make-over for her room. It was looking a little plain, so we bought a few things to spice it up. She loves it! She looks so tiny in that big bed when I check on her at night.
Lily actually stays in her room during rest time and night time! I had to buy a gate with London and there would be many times she would fall asleep, in tears, on the floor by that gate. But Lily has done a great job. No gates! No tears! The one terrible thing is that she is officially done with naps. That is always such a sad, sad day.
No more cribs around here...sniff, sniff!

Good job Lily! We have to lock Eli in his room and he has no toys in there because he will play instead of sleep. He just got a big bed too. :)
Her room is so cute! Maybe she could teach Sophie how to stay in her room at night. :)
