Sea World

We took our very first family vacation! Just us! We had a great time! We headed for San Antonio last Thursday. We loaded up the car and I gave the girls their new trays. (These were life savers and a must-have for a road trip!) I packed crayons, markers, coloring books, paper, play dough, stickers, games, and so much more. We were set!
Once we got there, we were pleasantly surprised by our beautiful resort. We stayed at the JW Marriott Resort and it was so so nice. A great family, kid friendly hotel!
The girls loved the room with the two beds. It's the little things that make them so happy!
We rested, played, and then got ready for dinner.
I realize she's sitting on the nasty hotel floor. Choose your battles.

After dinner, we walked around and explored.

After a quick swim, we went to bed. The next morning we woke up bright and early and headed to Sea World!
They were so excited!

Lathered up in sun screen and ready to go!
Thank goodness we got the double stroller. They rode in it all day.
It was really hot but actually not as bad as I had thought.
We went to the Sesame Street part first. We came across a roller coaster and London insisted that she ride it. J and her waited in line and I really figured she would back out right before getting on but to my surprise she jumped in and got strapped up. The ride started and what does my daughter do?? She lifts both hands in the air and has the time of her life. Crazy.

Lily begs to get on it too, but she just isn't quite tall enough so we headed over to the safe merry-go-round.

Then we ran into some of our favorite Sesame Street friends!
Lily wanted nothing to do with poor Cookie Monster.
We walked around and saw so many different things. We loved the sweet little sea lions!
SCARY!

We ate at Rosita's Pizza for lunch. The air conditioning was lovely.

Then off to the the Sesame Street 4D show. It was neat. We got wind blown and wet! We all really liked it! Doesn't J's face say it all??

One thing we didn't get to do was feed the dolphins. The line was ridiculously long and we just didn't have it in us to stand there in the blaring sun. We did get to see them though and a few made it over to us.

We cooled off inside.
I love her little pimp hat.
Lily is just about done.

We had some ice cream and headed over to the water park. The girls cooled off for awhile. We bought some souvenirs and headed back to the car. They made it a lot longer than I thought they would. We didn't get to see Shamu but maybe next time...
While we were buying our sourvenirs a terrible, terrible thing happened. First, I dropped my camera. I had a million things going on and it just slipped from hands. It was the worst sound ever. Once I picked it up, some how, some way, I then dropped my lens. I actually screamed out loud and scared everyone around me. My camera is no longer working. I have to get it fixed. I am sick.
Onto happier things....
Lily's choice.
London's choice!

We got back to the hotel, rested, had dinner, and went to bed early.
The next morning we hit the pools again.
Going under!
We loved the lazy river. It went around the hotel and was so relaxing.
The girls loved the water slides. They went down the slides more times than I could count!

We spent all morning at the pool then unfortunately had to go back to the room and pack. We hated to leave but had a great time. We will be going back some time soon! The girls had a fabulous time and we made some wonderful memories!

Your girls are so stinkin' cute! I can't get over how big London looks with her new hair do. So adorable! I have to know where you got the trays at. We are driving to Florida in a month so I'm starting to get the road trip activities rounded up! I love keeping up with you and your sweet fam! Miss you girl!
