The Royal Princess Party

I cannot even believe my London is 6. 6 sounds soooo old to me.
She had her princess birthday party on Saturday. She planned the entire thing. She wanted her friends to wear their princess dresses, she wanted chocolate and strawberry cupcakes, and she decided to have centers. She came up with 5. One center was making a bracelet with lots of beads, one was a dance/game center, one was a manicure center, and last was making a door hanger with glitter, glue, stickers, and all kinds of little fun things. She should really look into being a party planner.
We sent out the invitations to all of the girls in her class and a couple from church. We didn't want to leave anyone out.
Last week, I was busy getting everything in order. I was very very proud of my cute little bottles with lemonade inside!
Sitting for hours looking at Pinterest finally paid off.

The day of the party finally arrived and we were so excited! Thank you mom and Auntie for helping me get it all together!

I wish I had taken more pictures! Everything was pink, pruple, and frilly!

It was our first drop-off party. No parents. It was fabulous. As the little girls arrived, they had on their darling dresses. Some came with make-up and wigs. Others had on fancy shoes and even body glitter! But they all had long flowing dresses!
We were missing a few here but it was the best I could do with these wild, screaming princesses. We had 12 little ladies at the party! When everyone arrived, we headed upstairs and began the centers. I had to "hire" several people to help out: Auntie, my mom, Nana, and Aunt Sheila...I couldn't have done it without them!

Making door hangers with Nana!

Getting pampered!

The dance and game room with my Mom!

The little princesses even got involved!

Time to come downstairs for the royal feast!

Yum!
 Lighting the candles!

Singing Happy Birthday!

Cupcake time!

Presents!

It got a little hectic with all the princesses trying to see the gifts.

After the presents, they all ran back upstairs and played until their parents came to get them. One even cried when her mom came to get her--I took that as a good sign. The party was a great success! London had a fabulous time with all her little friends and it was fun seeing her celebrate!

Monday was her actual birthday. J signed up for Watch Dog at her school all day so she got to wear her shirt and spend time with him. She got to bring fruit snacks to pass out at snack time. She was so excited about that.
No matter how old, or how onry, or how "cool," or how big she gets...
she will always be my little princess.

Oh...a part of me longs for these sweet pinky, girly things. But then I might not know what to do with all of it. Because after skimming through the adorable pictures, my first thought was, "I can't believe she has that many girls with pink lemonade on that gorgeous carpet." No way I'd even consider that with a boys' party. See? I can't even react like a girl momma. LOL!
