Field Day

I loved Field Day as a teacher. It's a day where you are outside, playing games, and having a good time. No grades, no tests, no real structure. It was always a nice break right before summer. When I was teaching, there were so many parent volunteers that the teachers could walk around, relax, and have an easy day.
Lily and I went to volunteer at London's school for her Field Day. It was cloudy, muggy, and so muddy. The kids did not seem to mind. There were 15 stations and each station there was something fun to do. They had relay races, water games, sack races, tug-of-war, a water slide, a parachute game, and lots more. We walked with London's class and Lily participated in every game too. We had a break for lunch, then back outside to fininsh up. There was a dj there and I think I heard "Call Me Maybe" about 100 times.

I only got a few pics...
Tug Of War! They pulled so hard.

They won!

The hit of the day!

London and her sweet friends!
