London and I headed over to the Wiggly Play Center today, and she had the best time! We had never been to this one before. It has bounce houses, blocks, slides, cars, balls....a kid's dream come true. She really doesn't like the bounce houses yet. When she gets in one, she jumps a little, falls down, then can't get back up. But here in the next couple of months, she is going to be an expert! I can already tell!
We did have one little incident while we were there. They have a computer in the corner where kids can play. She walked over to it and was watching this girl play on it. (The little girl was probably around 5 years old.) London was standing right by her, and for some reason the little girl pushed her away. London backed off and was turning around, when all of a sudden, the girl jumps down from the chair and charges London, and I am not exaggerating! I mean she charged her. She came over to London and pushed her so hard she was knocked off her feet and fell flat. I was stunned! London starts bawling, and I felt the whole place stop and stare at us. The other mother rushed over, (thank goodness--I don't think she would have appreciated me spanking her child! :), grabbed her child, spanked her right there and kept apologizing. I told her it was okay, while London was carrying on. The mother told me that her child had been having lots of problems lately...yeah, we could tell. Anyway, I am sure this will happen again. Kids will be kids. It was just shocking. I am glad the mom did come over to regulate. If she hadn't, I'm not sure what I would have done! Once I got London settled down, she was back down playing as if nothing had happened. But mean while, I kept a watch out for that girl and didn't let London near her. I wasn't about to let that happen again! Would it have been weird for me to have tackled her down if she came after my daughter again????? :)

I'm glad you got to go. The kids loved it, but it's not ideal for small kids. I had Steve with me and I still kept losing both of them. I'm sorry she got tackled. I had to watch for that too.....the kids there go crazy wild. I'm glad it wasn't me, cuz I'm not so sure I would've been so calm. Awesome patience.
I don't think it would be wrong for you to 'intercept' the troubled child before she did anymore damage. London's too young to defend herself, so you're all she's got. If you don't stand up for her, who will?!?
I'm glad yall had a fun time, despite what happened. We've never been there before - we may have to try it! I'll be sure to bring Dana's helmet, though. :)
You just wait until you have "little arguments" with other kids. We were at a birthday party for my friend's 5 year old and this little girl wouldn't let Logan up on the playhouse because it was "hers." I attempted to get into a conversation with this little girl, until I realized that I was arguing with a 5 year old.
So fun! And, oh my goodness!!! Is it bad that I'm laughing at the visual of you taking her out :o)
