Over the weekend, J and I took London to see the circus! During the car ride there we talked about seeing the elephants, tigers, and lions. She was so excited! Once we got there we found our seats and were ready for the show to begin. Of course, we couldn't forget the popcorn and a drink. When the show started, they turned out all the lights and all you could see were the glow in the dark toys that all the children had and she was mesmerized by this! The lions and tigers were first out. Every time I looked over at her, she was inhaling all the popcorn and didn't even seem to notice the animals. But as soon as their act was over, she asked, "Where the tigers go?" So, I guess she did notice them! Next out were the trapeze girls and I think I enjoyed this more than her. Then finally came the elephant! She loves elephants, but once it started walking out, she grabbed onto my neck for dear life. She tried to climb over me--she was so scared! But once I finally calmed her down, she enjoyed it. After the elephant, our time was up. She was getting a little bored and we knew it was time to go. She did last almost two hours, and we were proud of her for hanging in there. I doubt she'll ever remember us taking her to the circus at this age, but it was so neat to see her so excited and wanting to see everything. I just love this age!!

Waiting for the circus to begin.
The tigers and lions
The elephant that scared her to death!

Leaving the circus! We had a great time!
