Visiting the purple room

Last week, we had open house at London's preschool. I was so excited to see what she had been up to. London was very confused about what open house was though. She kept asking if she was going to church. She kept saying it wasn't preschool time because it was dark outside. She just couldn't quite understand why we were all going. But once we got there, I think it clicked. When we arrived, Ms. Ward had a scavenger hunt for us. We got to walk around the purple room and look at all of London's projects. She showed us her cubby, the centers, her artwork, her paintings, and all the cool toys in the room. I was very impressed! My favorite thing was a little project where Ms. Ward got to ask the kiddos questions and she wrote down their answers. One of the questions was, "I like to eat..." and London apparently tells her, "carrots!" Wish that were true.
After we browsed around the room, we headed to the music room. London walked in, found her little piece of tape, and sat crisscross apple sauce right where she was supposed to. I couldn't have been more proud.
We then headed back out and of course found the snack table. We munched on some cookies and punch. We also stopped by the book fair and bought more books to add to the already overflowing collection. I guess you can never have enough of those. All in all, it was a great time at open house. The sad part was it just once again reminded me that my baby is no longer a baby.

The first thing she does at school...find her fish.

Explaining everything to us..

Lily pie taking it all in. Watching every move big sister took.

Showing off.

Her BFF

Apparently, she has a little boy in her class who she really really likes. She is constantly talking about him at home. But we aren't even going there.

Ms. Ward--we love her!

The music room. Finding her tape.

Enjoying her snack and juice.

Stopping by the book fair then headed home!
