Saturday was a beautiful day, so headed to the park to play. We were enjoying running around, playing on the play ground, sliding down the slides, and exploring all the cool things at the park. I was at the top of the play ground with Lily. London comes up and slides down the slide and Lily of course, tries to follow. So, I grab her and we slide down the twisty slide together. About half way down she gets her foot caught, but I didn't think anything of it. Once we got to the bottom, she immediately started crying. At first, I thought she just got scared. But she kept crying and crying and crying. I could not calm her down. That is when J and I knew something was wrong. It's just not in her personality to carry on like that. So, we thought we just better head to the ER now and find out what is going on with her leg. I kept thinking there is no way it's broken! It barely got stuck on the slide, plus this CANNOT be happening again!! To make a long story short, the doctor came back with a sad look on his face and I knew right then...it's broken. She has a buckle fracture. The bone is not actually broken but it's stressed and there are some other medical words to describe everything, but all I know is my poor baby has another broken leg. It's the same leg as last time just a different bone. Saturday night was long. She was in so much pain and she didn't sleep well. Sunday was somewhat better and then she slept the whole night through last night. We woke up early this morning and got her cast put on. She only has to wear this one for about 2 weeks!! I am so happy about that! I did share my concerns with the doctor. I feel like what happened on Saturday should not have broken her leg. She's not even 2 and we have had the same leg break twice! But the doctor didn't seem so concerned. He feels like it's just been 2 freak accidents. But something tells me that there is just more to all of this. We might be running some more tests after the cast is taken off to see if anything is going on. Lily is doing great now. She is not too sure what to think about the cast this time around though. She keeps trying to pull it off and she is trying desperately to walk. Bless her heart! But we are going to get through this. I just pray that this will never happen again to her! She has been through enough. Lily truly is my little trooper!
We chose PURPLE this time!

Poor baby! What a little trooper. She still looks so happy in the pictures. And bless your heart...you must be a wreck. Hang in there. I am sure everything will be fine. :-)
How sad! But you have to admit, she still looks adorable!! Such a cutie. :)
So sorry! I'd go with your gut on this one...it does seem a little off to have that happen so easily! Poor thing -- i'm glad it will heal quickly and she'll be back to business in no time!!
She is adorable in the pictures! And I'm so glad that it will only be two weeks. Hang in there, little Lily!
Poor baby! I am so sorry that happened again! I will certainly pray that the doctor is right and it was just two freak accidents.
Sweet Lily we're so sorry about your leg. I'm glad you're getting your broken bones out of the way early so you won't remember the pain and scariness of all of this. We love you and are praying for God to heal you with unbreakable bones.
Hang in there Mandy I know you're doing a great job, you're the trooper for sure!
Poor baby! I am so sorry that all of you are going through this. I will be praying for you.
(((((Mandy))))) I'm so sorry. I really hope you aren't beating yourself up on this. If you are, please stop! You are a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL Momma and those girls are so lucky to have you stay at home with them. Look at her sweet face...so happy in spite of the big purple cast. Precious! So glad you have it taken care of...but follow your instincts. God gives those to us for a reason!
Poor little thing! Let me know if you need anything. She's a tough one!
Hang in there little sweetie!! You are lucky to have such a good mommy to take care of you!!
