A Collector

London came home from school the other day and told me that her and her BFF collected "acorns" (not really sure if they are actually acorns but they do look like it) while playing outside on the play ground. She said they had so much fun and couldn't wait to go and do it again. I thought it was sweet. Well, the acorn conversation ended there, and we moved on to talk about other "preschool things."
Several days later, I was doing some laundry. I threw in London's jeans, and I hear this loud sound of clinking and clanking.Out spilled a handful of those acorns! I guess I didn't realize that once she found them on the playground, she actually put them in her jeans pocket to keep! I'm just glad I saw them first before washing the darn things! But when London saw them again, she begged to have them back. She actually got really upset when she realized that I wanted to throw them away. So, instead of arguing with her, we decided to put them in the backyard to play with later. All the drama for just some silly acorns!

I hope I'm not raising a hoarder! Have you ever watched that show on A&E?  It's crazy!!

lol I always think Eli is a hoarder too. If he finds something he likes, he will hold it in his hand and try to play with his other toys with his other hand. This becomes difficult if the object is big and he is trying to pick both up...but he does NOT let go of the first object. What a funny little kid! haha

Anytime JK goes for a walk, he's "searching for tweasure". God only knows what comes home in those pockets.
