I am so sorry I've been MIA! My precious Dell computer crashed. It's still broken, and I have to send it off to have surgery. I'm on my hubby's computer and thankfully this post was ready to go! So, here is the rest of my NY vacation!
Okay, so where did I leave off....oh yeah, Broadway!! On one of the nights we were there we went to see "Promises Promies" starring Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth.

Sean Hayes played Chuck Baxter and he was hilarious! I loved watching Kristin play a cute little character named Fran. (I felt a special bond with her since she in an Oklahoma native!). She was great on stage. The play was funny and smart. We really enjoyed experiencing the NY Broadway theater.
It was fun getting all dolled up!
The next day we went to Madame Trousseau's Wax Museum. It was a hoot!
I didn't have my good Canon with me so the pictures are a little blurry.
I can't believe I'm actually posting some of these pics!
Rock-n-roll baby!
"Don't text and drive!"
Get out of the way Jolie!
Isn't he dreamy?!?
My hand is on his hand--don't get any wrong ideas!
Just another day at the White House!
This was a little more serious. It was beautifully set up.
These were the firefighters at ground zero.
I'm still Team Jacob!
"What's love got to do with it?"
No! No!
Tell me your what your next movie is all about?
I'm not really sure what I was trying to do here? Maybe dancing?
So embarrassing!
Hold on tight!
Like I said, I can't believe I posted these pics but it was so much fun. I laughed so hard and we made some funny memories in that place!
Once we left the wax museum, we tried to decide where to go next. You kindof have to whip out your map when your view looks like this...
We went to Central Park. It was huge!
We also did a lot of shopping that day. We went to Century 21. (Ashley and Carol--a huge thank you for this! That place was amazing!) We did some major damage there.
We passed by this guy. Every time someone flashed a picture of him, he demanded that you tip him. We secretly took this when he was distracted.
They have a little bit of something for everyone in the Big Apple.
On the way back, we got mixed in with a Dominican Republic crowd. They had a huge parade and they were very excited to be celebrating their heritage. But once that was over, they made quite a mess. This mess covered about 4 blocks. Wonder how long it took to clean all that up?
That evening we found an Irish Pub. We relaxed, laughed, and enjoyed the spirits.
On our last day, we had a full schedule. In the morning, we went to the Empire State building.
You can't miss it!
We stayed in a very, very, very long line. They did have some unusual attractions to look at while you are waiting.
Once we finally got to the top, 102 stories up, the view was fascinating.
Watching the pigeons fly to the top and then zoom back down made my stomach do strange things.
After the Empire State building, I bought a couple of knock-off Coach purses for my mom and sister. They requested it. I got my girls some cute sippy cups at the M&M store, and a bunch of cheap NY t-shirts. We stumbled across an adorable Hello Kitty store. I got the girls lots of cute things there. I got some Juicy Couture perfume and a cute sassy wallet. We did lots of window shopping. I don't know how people afford to live in Manhattan. It just blows my mind.
I did miss my family like crazy and J did a fabulous job of texting me pictures of my girls. He did a wonderful job (more about that in a later post)! I was glad to be back home, driving my own car, sitting in my backyard, and enjoying the stars at night. I did not miss this weather though. Holy smokes!
I will be going back to New York again in the near future. I just have lots of saving up to do!
