Dear Lily,

I cannot even believe you are 2 years old. We are so proud of you. You are such a big girl now. It only seems like yesterday that you looked like this....

You are such a blessing to our lives. Your little personality is shining through. You are pretty easy going and you are ready to go, go, go! You love to smile and laugh. Your whole face lights up when you smile and your sweet little laughter is contagious!

You sure do love your big sister. You watch her and learn so much from her. Watching the two of you together makes my heart sing. You have such a special bond that will last a life time.

You are a good eater and a wonderful little sleeper. You do great at trying new foods. You may not eat it all but at least you give it a try. You love any kind of fruit, pancakes, carrots, ice cream, and sushi. Yeah, sushi. Your father is to blame for that one!

You are an observer. You can be so still for so long--just thinking. You scrunch those little eye brows together and you can tell that your little brain is going a hundred miles an hour. You take everything in.

We love you more than you will ever know. I say this a lot but it's so true--you complete our family. You have brought us so much joy. I thank God for you everyday. I thank Him that He chose us to be your parents. You are our precious gift from above.
