Did they even miss me?

While I was having the time of my life in New York, my little family seemed to do just fine without me. I had no doubts that J would do a wonderful job on his own. Those little girls love him to pieces. When he comes home from work everyday, they squeal with delight and run full blast into his arms. He's a wonderful daddy. I was just worried that they would really miss me. London knew where I was going (we have a state map puzzle and she can point out many states including NY) and when I would be back (she has a calendar in her room and we mark off each day, so she knew the day I would be returning--can you tell I used to be a teacher??). Lily on the other hand, did not have a clue. I was more worried for her than for London. BUT through the texts and numerous phone calls, everyone seemed perfectly content with my absence.
J took them everywhere. Each day they went to a million places. I guess he just wants to run them around all day until they want to come home and pass out from pure exhaustion. They went to Target (several times), Walmart, the mall  (who knows how many times!), Jake's Pizza place, Dickey's, (twice!) church (yes, church!), and the Tobler house.
I still can't believe he actually made it to church! He ironed their dresses and tried his best to fix their hair. Here is London looking pretty cute but I'm not sure what Lily looked like. She could have been wearing last year's Christmas dress for all I know! :)

Here they are at Dickey's. I think this is the first time my girl's were out in public without bows.

They also did some Toy Story shopping. Spoiled rotten.

So, I am very proud of my hubby for holding down the fort while I was away. I was thankful for my little vacation. He did do a fabulous job!
Thank you J for being such a great father. I did not worry one time about you guys. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father to our precious girls. I love you!

I saw them at church and I thought they looked cute, seasonal and groomed. Good job Jeff!
