Bath time around here can be a lengthy, tiresome, back-breaking ordeal.
BUT things are changing. London has decided that she is too big for baths and wants to only take showers which now of course, Lily does too. I was a little hesitant of the shower thing but after a few times of practicing not getting water everywhere, I am a fan--and so is my back. London took a shower first and Lily sat like a little statue and watched her like a hawk. After I helped London wash her hair, she asked if I could leave so she could have some privacy. I did and then came back to peek at her and she was just standing there with her eyes closed enjoying the warm water. (Hello! When did she suddenly grow up??) Then it was Lily's turn. She actually put her face in the water and let it get in her eyes. Total opposite of big sis. After I finished helping her soap up, she then says, "Go mommy!" So, I let her have her privacy for awhile. I came back to peek in on her and she was holding her wash cloth, trying to get some soap out, and singing
The Wheels on the Bus. So stinkin' precious.
Here are my teen-aged girls.
She's such a big girl!
The famous face.
"Cheese!"

So cute! I feel your pain! I actually hurt my back a few weeks ago giving Elliott a bath . . . I couldn't pick her up for two days! Of course, she's only 4 months . . . we have a ways to go before she can shower!
OMG, so silly...this post has me in tears. I can't imagine my boys doing this. WHY is this so sad to me? LOL!
