London has been playing "Mary" around here nonstop. Playing "Mary" means you grab a baby doll, put it up your shirt, and tell anyone who will listen to you that you are having a baby named Jesus. We play this at least 5 times a day. The first time we played "Mary" I was very interested to see how baby Jesus was going to come out. So after playing for awhile with baby Jesus in her shirt, London said it was time to go to the manger. I followed her into her room. She sat down on some pillows and told me to grab her pretend knife and fork. Then she informed me to "cut" out baby Jesus from her tummy. Once he came out she excitedly yelled, "Look Momma! It's baby Jesus!" So, of course Lily has to play "Mary" too.
Two little girls with babies up their shirts pretending to give birth is enough to send me running for the hills...
She sits so still waiting for the baby to arrive...
At least they getting the true meaning of Christmas!!
