That is what it has been like around here without the paci. It has been taking Lily
f--o--r--e--v--e--r
to go to sleep. She has always been a wonderful sleeper, so it's like having a newborn around here. Naps are a thing of the past apparently. It's been over a week and she still asks for the paci everytime I lay her down. Plus, she has had a cold and a terrible cough. All that combined together makes me want to pull out my fingernails. London didn't take it this bad. I only hope it starts to get better. If the Lord wanted to play a joke on me and I got pregnant again, that kid won't know what a paci is or what one even looks like.

Not having much faith in the old saying, "This too shall pass."
Despite all the drama around here though, she still makes my heart melt.
And I guess we'll keep her around....

Oh man...bless your heart. Hang in there. It really will pass. You are doing a good thing. At least she is not 3 and still sucking her finger like my Kate does, and unfortunately there is no "finger fairy". :)
I've been thinking about you and wondering how y'all are doing. It will pass. I know...easier said than done, but it will. Hang tough Momma! (Bubs has never been much for pacis, but he LOOOOOVES his bottle. About to turn 17 months and we're still having a bottle at night before bed. Eeks.)
