She's gone.

When my sister moved to Texas after she graduated college, I was ecstatic! We are very close so I was thrilled that she would be practically down the street. We could hang out, take care of each other, and live our lives here in Texas together. She got married and then had our Scarlett, all the while living about 5 minutes from me. But for some crazy reason, Uncle Chris has a passion for Oklahoma. I think he liked living in Texas but just felt more at home in OK. So, over the summer, he applied for a vice principle job, got an interview, got an offer, and quickly after--accepted the job. I can't even begin to tell you how devasted I was. In two weeks, my sister found new renters, found a new house, got Scarlett in a good preschool program, and even got a part time librarian job at an elementary school. Just like that, they were gone. I was so sad for London and Lily. Gowing up with Scarlett was so important! Now they are living 3 hours away. I know it's not that bad but it secretly is when they were once only 5 minutes away! :(
I guess change is inevitable...but it sure does stink!

The good ol' days...
Our favorite aunite!

Memories
(She is going to kill me for posting this pic.)

My girls

I know you are just a state away, but I hate that you are not right around the corner anymore. You will always be my best friend and my favorite sister. We just have to "work" at seeing each other now. Who knows, maybe one day you'll come to your senses and move back to this great state!
I love you.
BTW--was my hair really that blonde????

#1 For the record, I was skinnier than you once upon a time. Refer to pic number 1 for proof.

#2 Why would you even think it is remotely even slightly okay to post pic #2? I am now saving for a nose job. Thanks.

#3 You could have at least mentioned I was pregnant in that bright green shirt pic! Sheesh!

#4 Was I wearing black biker shorts in the second to last picture?? WTH?

#5 I'm glad this post was not as sad as I feared.

#6 Move to Oklahoma. It's that easy! We were born here! It's our mother land.

#7 I. love. you.

You girls are too funny. Sad that you are apart, but excited for Michelle's family and their new adventure. You'll just have to buy more tanks of gas,
