A big step

My sister, Scarlett, and Chris drove down to our neck of the woods many weeks ago (still catching up!!) and we got to spend some much needed time together! Poor London came down with the stomach bug. She was sick for 5 very long days. She slept on the couch the entire weekend. I felt miserable for her. It stinks when your kiddo is so sick and you can do not a thing about it.
So, Lily and Scarlett got a good dose of each other. They played outside, rode bikes, went on a scavenger hunt, painted, and got out every toy we own. Scarlett did make a big break-through over the weekend. She is deathly afraid of Scout. She screams, cries, and clings to you when he comes in the room. I usually have to keep him in his kennel or outside. I think she's afraid of him because when he was a puppy he was wild and out of control. He would jump on her and act all excited around her and I think that terrified her. So, we had Scout boot camp. I put him on his leash and once she saw that he wasn't going to hurt her, I made her pet him. She then hugged him and helped me walk him! We stayed outside for about an hour and I finally got her used to him. We then transitioned to inside. She still gets a little nervous but she has come a long way. I'm a proud Auntie!
