My little gymnast

Lily had her first "performance day" for her gymnastics class a few weekends ago. We were so excited to see our Lily Pie show off for us. It was on a Saturday so the whole family got to see our girl in action!
She was ready to get out there and do her thing!

We wished her luck and then she was off...

They got warmed up...

Did some stretching..

Love their little looks! "You want us to do what??"

After they stretched, they went to their first rotation--the floor exercises. They were incredibly patient as they each waited their turn. All these kiddos aren't in her regular class, they just divided them by their age for that day.

I was a little nervous at first-you just never know if your kid will go out there and kick butt or if  they will get shy and act like they have never even been in a gym before.
Our Lily kicked butt!

Second rotation was the bars!
She was only one of a few who could actually do this in her three year old class.
By the third rotation, she was getting a little antsy...

The balance beam was next.

Taking a little break.

The last rotation was the trampoline!

Getting her much deserved medal

We were so proud of our girl!

I SOOO want her to stick with this. She really does a great job and she's good. On Friday at her class, her coach told me she is now off yellow (where the 3 year olds start) and has moved onto green--where all the 4 year olds are at! She is the only one in her class on green!

We are so proud of you Lily!!
