Mrs. Sherry

Our two weeks of swim lessons ended last Friday. We had our lessons with Mrs. Sherry again this year (Lily's first time!) and again, Mrs. Sherry did not disappoint. She is the swim whisperer. She can get kids who are petrified of water to go under. It's amazing to watch.
Lily's class, The Tadpoles, went first and London's class, The Fish, went right after. I got to sit by the pool, watch my girls, and chit chat with friends. Lily started off scared to put her face in the water. She got braver and braver and by the end she was swimming underwater--well, a little--and jumping off the diving board. We did have a few days where tears were shed, but I guess it's just part of it. She loves swimming with the noodle. She will only go under with goggles on. I'm so proud of her!

All the girls before class!

Yeah for swimming!!

Lily's class--listening and learning. (Sorry--I've been bored--lots of editing on these pics!)
Practicing on the board.

Noodling, floating, and swimming through hoops! Lily rarely smiled during swim lessons. She takes it very seriously. Ha.

About to go under for a tea party! Lily can't wait.

Jumping!!

London's turn!

Helping her friend!

What a pro!

They did a great job and now we are ready to practice our skills all summer!!
