Spring Break!

Our spring break seemed to fly by this year. We started out by going to OK for several days. The girls did a lot of playing and hanging out with my family. I didn't take but two pictures the whole time. :(  We also went to library one day, and we went to iPic one evening. But one of my parts of our spring break was when we went to the Arboretum. We headed there at the end of the week and it was super busy. I think half the state had our same idea on the exact same day. But the weather was perfect and I'm glad we went! I let the girls lead the way and I snapped a few pictures...

I could hardly keep up!

I love going to the Arboretum this time of year. It's just gorgeous.

We did a lot of walking. We hit the play area for the kiddos. I let them play while I sat and enjoyed the sunshine.
Every time we go somewhere, I feel like we are always in a rush. We rush to get there, rush to do this or that, rush to take pictures, rush to eat, rush to get back in the car, and rush to get back home only to rush around some more. Does anyone else feel that way? So, this trip to the Arboretum was all about NOT rushing. I literally let them do their thing. I followed them around and took a few pictures. I let them lead the way and when they wanted to move onto something else....I just followed. We had no agenda and no time constraints.
Once they got worn out from playing, we headed to find a place for our picnic. London picked a green hill overlooking White Rock Lake. Perfect.

After we ate, they ran down that hill 100 times. I still can't believe one of them didn't fall and bite it.

After spending the day there, we made the way back to the car. Slowly. No rushing. I snapped one more pic of my beautiful girls. I loved spending the afternoon with them and not yelling at them to hurry up! It was peaceful and we all actually enjoyed it. We have to do this No Rushing thing more often.....
