We had the best little family vacation. Several of my friends have been to Lost Pines, right outside of Austin, and they said it was a great vacation for families! So we booked a little get-away with my brother-in-law and his family!
All ready!
We got there safe and sound and got checked in!
We got caught up with the family and did some exploring! It's a resort basically out in the middle of no where but there are a ton of things to do. The kids were a little too short for horseback riding and zip lining but we found other lots of other things to help keep them entertained.
Playing a little soccer before we went swimming.
I know it looks like a lake but this is the sand part of the pool. It's zero entry pool which is perfect for my kiddos!
The lazy river was a favorite!
On the way to dinner. Where do they get all this sassiness?? J??
Right outside our room!
The next morning at breakfast and right before we went on a little hike!
Playing a little bball.
I really don't think they knew what this was!!
We ran into the Colorado River!
What a crew!
Uncle Eric taught London how to play chess and she's been nonstop ever since.
Back to the pool while Sheila and I had a glorious spa day.
That night we had S'mores!
Yum!
This horse was at the front of the hotel. They begged to get on it and we finally gave in.
The next day the dad's played golf and Sheila and I were in charge! We rode bikes right after breakfast.
They rode bikes round and round the hotel.
Then back to the pool.
After some golf, the dad's joined us for some water sliding.
Lily's face is nothing but pure joy!
We went back to the room for showers and some rest. It rained off and on the entire time we were there which was actually nice since it cooled off everthing.
Singing, "Rain, rain go away"
They loved playing on the play ground in the evenings. The huge trees brought so much shade. It was a really beautiful resort.
Happy Vacation!!
