We spent the rest of our vacation in a great family resort in Palm Desert. It was a villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a patio that overlooked the golf course. The girls had their very own room. They kept asking if we could just stay there for forever.
We got there in the evening and headed to the grocery store to stock up. We came back, relaxed, had dinner, and got ready for bed.
Our cozy bedroom.
Yes, that is 409 cleaner I bought at the store...I'm just a tad OCD.
The girls room. They loved how they had their own couch. It's the little things with them....
Night Night!
The next morning, we woke up and had breakfast on the patio. Then we started planning what we were going to do!
Our view!
First it was to the pool...of course!
If you put googles on this girl, this is what you get.
We've come a looooong way.

Then we headed to the activity center. It was loaded with games, computers, crafts, and a movie room. We went there for all of our activities.
First on the list was making their own animals.
All the activities were led by teenagers. This guy was a surfer dude. If anything, I felt very old.
We did some more swimming and relaxing the rest of the day. We did venture out that evening for dinner.
The next day we came back to the activity center and made some sand and seashell globes.

Back to the pool to check out the slides!
The girls also made their own Tie-Dye T-shirts.
The final product!
We swam some more, had a spaghetti dinner in our villa and finished the last evening off with more swimming!
We woke up on our last morning and headed back to LA. We did some sight-seeing...
And had some coffee with our dear friends!!
Then it was off to the airport to catch a ride home.
We had a smooth flight back and the super nice pilots let this lady take a look. I didn't even know this was still allowed!! Just another great thing about Virgin Airlines!

Oh my goodness - I don't think your blog audience will automatically understand the drive you must have had from your villa to your sightseeing destination. I get it though - you must have driven by my old hometown because it's on the way in from Palm Springs to Beverly Hills. Goodness gracious that's a trip!
Sounds fantastic!! Where did you stay in Palm Desert?
